Michael Bauer, DVM

After receiving his DVM from Auburn University in 1982, Dr. Michael Bauer completed 4 years of advanced training in small animal surgery. He taught surgery for 10 years, primarily at Purdue University and Colorado State University, before establishing his Colorado Springs surgical practice in 1996.
Dr. Bauer and his associates have focused their work on small animal orthopedics, specifically arthroscopy, total hip replacement and ACL repair including TPLO and TTA. They have had the opportunity to perform many thousands of orthopedic and spinal procedures.
He loves working with animals, mountainbiking, windsurfing and playing guitar.
